This very important ministry is more than just “helping Father” during mass... It is an introduction of our young Catholics to the lay ministries of the church. Being an altar server lays an important foundation for our young people to be “pro-active” in their faith for a lifetime. Serving will instill a sense of responsibility by the young Catholic to their church and will also enhance their personal relationship with Jesus as they take part in the mass in such an intimate manner.
