The Sacrament of Eucharist is celebrated for the first time with our youngsters in Second Grade, usually during the Easter Season. Those children in Jesus the Good Shepherd School are catechized in their religion classes in preparation of this sacrament. Those children who attend non-Catholic schools are catechized in their weekly PSR ( parish School of Religion) classes. First Reconciliation is held prior to Eucharist, usually during Lent.

If your child is in one of these programs, you will be provided with information about those sacraments. If your child is not in one of those programs, or if your child is older than Second Grade and has not yet taken part in the Eucharist, please contact the church office 325-7549 and we will be more than happy to assist you in this.
