Parish School of Religion

From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

“Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children.”
“Education in the faith by the parents should begin in the child’s earliest years.”
“Parents should initiate their children at an early age into the mysteries of the faith of which they are the first heralds for 
            their children”

Parish School of Religion (PSR) is one way our parish aims at helping parents to catechize or share the faith with their children. PSR is religious education for those children who attend non-Catholic schools. We offer classes for grades K through 8. We also help to ready those children preparing to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist in the 2nd grade and Confirmation in the 8th grade.
