
In addition to being the Director of Music at JGS, and Director of the St. Gregory Chorale, Carolyn also teaches musice at Our Lady of Fatima School in Monroe.
She received here B.A. Degree from Louisiana College, and a Master of Music Degree from Texas Tech University and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Carolyn is also certified in education with course work done at Holy Cross College in New Orleans. She has performed four times in Carnegie Hall in New York City, and has worked with conductors from around the world. She looks forward to a fifth season with the St. Gregory Chorale, and to planning a trip to Europe with the Chorale next year. St. Gregory Chorale Information The St. Gregory Chorale is a mixed ensemble of adults from the parish of JGS. In the summer of 2005, the Chorale will mark its fifth year as an organization. In 2003 the St. Gregory Chorale made a singing pilgrimage to Italy, singing in St. Mark's Cathedral in Venice, St. Francis of Assisi Chapel in Assisi, Santa Croce Cathedral in Florence, and in Mass at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. They were also featured in a concert at St. Ignatius Church in Rome. Presently, the group has recorded two CD's which are available for purchase in the Church office or from any Chorale member.
