In May 1996 I graduated from St. Mary's and was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Shreveport on June 8, 1996.
My first placement was St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Shreveport. I was parochial vicar at St. Elizabeth's for two years. Bishop named me Associate Vocation Director in July of 1998. At that time I became a priest in residence at the Cathedral. The next year I was named Director of Church Vocations and parochial vicar of the Cathedral. On May 1, 2003 I was named pastor of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
My favorite pastimes include reading, watching movies and plays. I like to hike and cross country ski. Traveling is also a passion of mine. I enjoy teaching classes on Catholic theology. My favorite area of theology is Social Ethics. I attempt to put my faith in action through helping those in need.
